Counting The Days!!!

Been back in Port for 3 weeks now and I'm already having withdrawal symptoms!  Yep it's the little munchkins I'm missing, although, yes I'll admit the grown ups too.  But lets face it when your a grand parent you can love, spoil rotten, cuddle, play with and when the going gets a bit rough....go home!!!

 Its fabulous watching Milo and Isla play together especially when you can click away on your camera and they haven't a clue!!     Lets play hats!

Week End Over!

So the weekend is over and hubby has gone back to work. I'm a little envious of down south where they have a public holiday but not so in the sunny state of Queensland!!!
Back to the grind of washing dishes, laundry and all the other mundane jobs of the stay at home wife.
Not that I'm complaining mind you.  I don't have to clock in or clock out. I can write here on my blog whenever it suits me and if I want I can sit and read all day, although I'm not much good at looking at jobs that have to be done and ignoring them!!!!!

Yep, I love my time to myself,

 mind you not every day. I also enjoy other people's company, but, to have days where you only have to think about yourself is FABULOUS!  I've just finished washing the dishes and tried my hardest to scrub off what I thought was crap on my little tray, only to discover it was part of the tree pattern....DOH!!!......Need to go to spec savers!!!

Next job after I've finished having a little blog is to replant all the flowers in the hanging baskets.  I know my life is riverting and a rival to the Kardashians !!!   But I wouldn't swap it. I mean, having to look amazing EVERYDAY and having to worry about what to spend all that money on!!! Come on ....thats way too much pressure!   Do I sound a little envious...Maybe! ha!

Nah....I'll just plant my plants, do my laundry, ioning, vacuum,  mop the floor do the really important jobs, then come 5 O'clock I'll sit down and have a vino while I wait for the dinner to cook and dream about what it would be like to be a Kardashion!!!

Heat Heat and More Heat!!!

Yep thats what its all about.   Only two seasons in Port Douglas .... Hot and Hotter!   We are in season number two at the moment....Hotter!!   But having said that, its beautiful opening up the shutters in the morning and seeing bright sunshine, (as long as the aircon is on)!!!

It poured and poured last night but I missed half of it because I was dead to the world and never even woke as hubby got up to let the dog in. Winnie the dog was banging on the door scared to death of the lightening!  But you'd never know it this morning, not a drop of water to be seen...except the pool and spa have been topped up!!

Well thats the pool and spa minus the little munchkins who are not here at the moment and I'm missing them so much I thought I'd include them in the pic!!   LOVE YOU MUNCHKINS!!!
Now the hubby has just finished watching The Titians get beaten by New Zealand in a final basketball playoff and he's so disappointed he's off on a bike ride in the heat! Goodluck with that one babe!!!  He'll probably collapse when he gets back from heat exhaustion!  Me...I'm staying put here in the aircon...I ain't stupid!

Well I've got a lot of editing to do with my photos now.  My wonderful techno minded daughter managed to put them all onto a hard drive for me and now is the task to edit them all....like a couple of thousand.   Wondered why it wasn't working before and wasn't till hubby walked past and informed me I had the dvd disc in instead of the hard drive!!!!......wondered why the pics weren't coming up...Doh!!!!    Bye for Now!!
