Been sooo busy!

Well haven't been on the last few days as I've been so busy! Last lot of shifting all the crappy little things and buying up what youngest daughter was missing! Weather here has been so hot and humid worse than Port Douglas..well almost! And of course I get up and true to Melb weather it's bloody freezing today!!! Ho hum! Skipped off to the movies last night and saw the Descendants, thought it was suppose to be a comedy but ended up coming out with red puffy eyes and a runny nose !!!! Good show tho, would give it 5 stars! Today youngest is off to audition then tonite sis and her friend over for dinner! So should wake up tomorrow with a headache and then will be hopping in the car and heading down the coast to spend some time with number one daughter! Oh what a busy life I have but at least at this age I know I'm not dead! Yet!

I Love Living In Hawthorn!

Well this gorgeous girl is my youngest daughter, yep the one I've been down here helping to shift! Hope she is happy here cause she deserves it! She's a fab girl and of course beautiful inside and out and yes you guessed it how could she not be having me for a mother!!! Adios!

The Big Move!!!

What a day this has been! Youngest daughter finally moved into her apartment today. We were both up at 6.30 in the morning ready for the big move with the removalists organized by poppa!

Big shock when the truck arrived with graffiti and 2 little Japanese men!! Thought ... WHAT THE!! Never could see them being able to lift the washing machine, fridge and move out the big couch but hey.... I WAS WRONG!! It was a bit of a comedy with the couch but they eventually after an hour squeezed, prodded pushed swore in their language ( and yes it was obvious) ... And finally got it in the truck! But they were lovely, kind, considerate polite and a happy little pair! So thanks to them the furniture is all snug and happily residing in its new little environment !!!!

Ohhhh Another Day!

Well spent the day... Very bloody hot day I might say ... Moving my youngest daughter into her new apartment!! Well not completely ..... Removalists can't come till thursday now.. Seems everyone wants to move either into or outta their apartments just after xmas! Had a bit of an uneasy move as she broke up with her boyfriend and he was there as we got her stuff!!!! Oh well!!! Life doesn't always go easy!! Shit does happen unfortunately !!! We consoled ourselves by going to a Vietnamese restaurant and drowning our sorrows with a little beverage that soothed our stressed souls!

Well I may have had a little more soothing than number 3 daughter!!!!! But a lovely time and delicious food was had and we are now happily back in the hotel room relaxing and watching the Telly!!! Well she is... I'm too busy punching away on these keys and thinking about having a little more soothing beverage!!! Well nighty nite for now.. Catch u in the soup... Hmmm bit of a stupid saying but what better way to sign out !!! X

Had to post this one as my beautiful eldest daughter sent me this pic of her gorgeous son!!! Sooo must also take after his Nanna... Somehow!!! Someway!!! Yep I'm sure!!!!

Uncle Barry!

Well last night up here in the far north for Beanie and Skye so decided we had better catch up with uncle Barry! Magnificent night! We went to Ridges for dinner as uncle Barry gets the big discount!!! Drinks all around we were having a great night till the meals arrived! The crusted Barramundi we ordered would have to have been the worst I've ever had.., tough as old boots.. I mean...even if u overcooked it it still falls apart but albeit dry.. You had to use a steak knife to cut through it.., come on...WT?....so much for Uncle Barry's discount!!!!! Anyway .. Uncle Barry had a lovely night and it was great to catch up as we are now the only fam in the state!!! Rest residing in Vic ! Goodnight UB! X

Last Night for Now!!!

Have had a nice night.....ok  husband just came in with a really lame joke..will ignore that ..Spent my last night with my gorgeous grandchild Beanie before she heads back home { well not last night 2nd last} !!!   Great night with our family [limited] of course ...mummy daddy and sibling being in melb as well as other spunky daughter of mine !   Am so sorry to see Beanster Go... she's such an amazing child....well behaved , kind , caring , intelligent...ok ...your gonna say...I'm the nanna of course I'm saying that but HUH....not true .....all thanks to her amazing parents but most of all to her Nanna!!!!   Which would of course be Me!!! Soooo, I'll now sign off , and hopefully talk to u tomorrow ...totally completly sober!!!!.....I think!!!!

Must Read!

After the fab night, I've already almost finished Dying to be Me, by Anita Moorjani....and I must say its a must read! I know it's a heavy topic cancer but after reading this book and hearing what she has to say you'll never be afraid of the disease again! And of course another great book although I've not read it yet and just flipped thru is Dr Wayne Dwyers Wishes fulfilled !! Well that's my little review for the day ! So I'll sign off and take to my bed now for a well earned rest!

Inspiring night!

I had the most inspiring wonderful night tonite !!! Wayne Dwyer and Cheryl Richardson !!!! Yay!!!! To hear them speak and what they had to say was awesome!!!!! John ( hubby) was there too chuckling away at the humor but also nodding his little balding head at the parts that struck home!!! What a fab two days I've had! Just wish there was more! Louise Hay and Cheryl are back in Melb April.... Already planning my trip!

In Sydney!

Well here I am in beautiful Sydney! Have been looking forward to this trip for a while as I've had tickets to see Wayne Dwyer and Cheryl Richardson for months! Inspirational speakers both of them and let's face it ... We all need a little inspiration every now and then! Have a lovely room overlooking the harbour! Off to do a spot of shopping and then dinner and the event at 6.30... Yahoooo can't wait!!!

Just a little relaxation!!

Just had a luxurious bath with the luxurious bath salts my beautiful no 2 daughter and her partner gave me for my birthday!!! Very relaxing and I spent an hour soaking in all the rose petals etc!!! But my relaxed state ended when I  tried to attempt to scrape the petals from my back and get them outta every crack and crevice not to mention the petals clogging up the drain as the bath water tried to escape!! Sooo my relaxed state has all but disappeared! But needless to say it was all worth it cause my skin feels amazing and I smell delicious if I do say so myself! As I slink into my new very cute cotton on nightie with the matching zebra panties in size L.... Hubby thinks he's onto a good thing but will be sadly disappointed as I'm now stuffed and will be snoring my head off in a few minutes!!

Movie Time!

Well here I am back again! Just had a lovely day with my gorgeous grandaughter.  Went to see Hugo the kids movie with her and it was a great little inspiring movie with some really lovely messages.  Then after some very healthy eating consisting of donuts with chocalate and lollies we proceeded to do some shopping.   Beanie tried her hardest to get me to buy some disco lights and garden knomes!!!   But alas ....put her off telling her to wait till she got home so she could get them for HER new house!!!! Phew!!!  Another close call!!

Proud of My Girl!

Well today I read my daughters new blog..Head in the Clouds...perfect choice...lol...GREAT BLOG!!.....Extremely proud of her..finally using her God given talents at last...well I may have had a slight input!!....I"ve not been on for quite some time ...have no idea why I'm telling myself this as I already know and I'm the only one to read this!!!!   But alas, she's inspired me to be off and running{not physically } with the words as it's good to have a vent about whatever!    Still the same friggin weight that I was when I started this blog off as a way to help me loose the weight a couple of years ago!!   Still drink way too much but my goal for 2012 is to cut waaaay down on it...The drink that is!....Have done pretty well so far altho new year was a wash out and not to forget my birthday...another wash out...aw well if ya can't celebrate those two days when can ya!!!!  Well that's it for today , don't want to overdo it! See ya in the soup!!   Talking to meself again, hmmmmm!
